Listening To The Rain

Rain reminds me I am a natural animal,

a blended part of Mother Earth's mosaic.

Saturday morning, and Mother Nature quiets me,

With a lazy drizzle of rain.

I wonder, does She have an ebb and flow too?

Knowing when to work and knowing when to rest?

"Hush," Mother Nature says.

"Too much thought," whispers Mother Earth.

Corrected, I listen.

Maybe I will grow instead of learn.
